Born and raised in New Orleans, I received my graduate degree from Louisiana State University in 1977. I have made my home in Colorado Springs since 1981, and worked at the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind and the Rocky Mountain Rehabilitation Center, before starting my private practice in 1987.

For three decades, I have practiced as a licensed clinician in Colorado Springs, working with individuals, couples, and families in the process of personal and interpersonal growth. My treatment focus is cognitive behavioral therapy, which teaches self control and mastery over your thoughts and feelings. This technique can be extremely successful treating depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, panic attacks, post-traumatic stress disorder, and insomnia.

I also specialize in the treatment of chronic pain secondary to work related accidents, auto accidents, and illnesses.

My clientele spans all age groups from 5 years old on up. My interest in working with diverse populations keeps my practice exciting and energized.

Taking the first step toward getting help is often the most difficult.
